nasty obsessions

I can't even remember when or even how I stumbled upon Sophia Amorusos Nasty Gal online boutique. I do know that I stop by the site, at minimum, twice a week. It never fails too have exactly what I want BEFORE I even knew I wanted it!! Here are a few of my random favorite looks Amoruos brings us. The styling and buying is impeccable... I wonder if stills does it herself or if her business has grown too big for a single girl to do it all? Who knows, who cares, it's perfection.

Georgia Frost: rockstar glam

Georgia Frost ROCKS the pages of Karen Magazine in its latest issue. Kate Ruth styled Frost drawing inspiration from Lady Gaga and rockstar glam, love how photographer Jenny Hands take Frost to the woods and shoots against the natural background. Beautiful mixture of chaos and calm.

Really don't have time for blogging, but of course MADE THE TIME!! Polyvore is quite addicting, I put this together in under 5 minutes, my personal best time btw, but could not decide between the Jeffrey Campbells or the Sam Edelmans so why not both?

Order of events: woke up this morning ready to study for finals week, ate breakfast, hung-out with the bf before he left for work, sat down at desk, just ADHD'd my way over to polyvore and end of story. Not my first time creating with polyvore, I have another account but wanted to start an indieavenue one. WOW, really, if you have time on your hands great, if not stay away!! It didn't take long for me to create my "date night" but figuring out how to post to blog, 2 hours!! The layout kept changing when I would publish so I went back and forth between sites for too long. Now I am an expert and now my boy's back with lunch... I will not polyvore after lunch, I will not polyvore after lunch, I will not polyvore after lunch...

My perfect date night ensemble, in this perfect polyvore pretend-land where money is no object and a girl can have a little too much fun.

Sephora trippin

(Stila: color wheel eye shadow palette $38 & Smudge Pots in black $20, NARS: Highlighting/Bronzing Duo in Orgasm/Laguna $38, MAKEUP FOREVER: HD Invisible Cover Foundation $40, Duo Mat Powder Foundation $32 & HD Kabuki Brush $39)

Kinda ended up at the mall again today...this time strictly make-up makeover. Good excuse to go out to dinner tonight but I forgot my camera!! Bummer, next time. Here's my steps: First, still using my Jan Marini AntiOxidant SPF 30/Waterproof moisturizer. Awesomeness in a bottle, VERY light, I where it 24/7, literally. Second, use to apply Jane Iredale Dream Tinted SPF 15 moisturizer... now, replacing the Jane Iredale with the HD Foundation, my shades #153. LOVE!! Felt like I needed a little more coverage then the tinted moisturizer but I would still recommend a tinted moisturizer for a light/day look. Third, I set it with the Duo Mat #207 for me with the HD Kabuki brush. A little bit of the NARS Orgasm next. This duo is a great mixture. It works on all skin tones, very natural, very flattering. From this point, endless combinations with the Stila STEAL color wheel, can you believe only $38? Really. Great gift! It even comes with a directions booklet. Couple negatives, unfortunately not very pigmented and way to big to travel with daily. Still, for the price I'm happy with the impulse purchase:) Last but so not least #1 product EVER Stila Smudge Pot in black. WOW. One of the best eyeliners I've come across. Easy to apply, stays in place, looks great!! I apply with MAC #208 Angled Brow brush.

Next step, mascara...

Need to credit my girl, make-up artist Leisha McCord for her advise on the MAKEUP FOREVER line. Really loving how natural it's turning out, Thanks Lei!! Check her out here
